Primary Objective: Continued use of computers/electronic equipment
Repairing and refurbishing computers and electronic equipment can greatly extend the life of the equipment and put computers into the hands of those who cannot afford to buy them new.

Secondary Objective: Ethical processing and recycling of e-waste
Electronic waste can be diverted to other countries where equipment is sent to landfills; there it can contaminate the environment, and some local residents, trying to reclaim valuable metal components, could be exposed to hazardous materials. We work with ethical and environmentally conscious recyclers who process these materials at approved facilities.

Why we charge: Space rental and shipping of non-usable components to approved ethical and environmentally conscious recyclers are our largest costs.
